'Blessings' Print on Canvas

Matte canvas stretched on frame made of radiata pinewood that has been sustainably sourced from renewable forests. Backhanging and rubber stoppers behind bottom corners are included. Available in sizes 20” x 16” (50.8 cm x 40.6 cm) and 10” x 8” (25.4 cm x 20.3 cm). 

Two oranges are twin infants, one boy and one girl. One child rests gently with his pacifier while the other is still wide awake and admires her sleeping brother. Again, there is a reference to “Hopes and Dreams” within the motifs on the bed sheets. Perhaps the gardener finally received what she was hoping for, in double no less!

‘Blessings’ is part of the ‘Love Boldly’ Collection. This collection is a break from my usual attempts at realism. Its title both represents the bold color palette as well as the audacity to choose love, both in big decisions and the everyday. Both romantic and familial love, as well as love of self, environment, and other are explored in this series.
