A gardener looks up at the night sky full of hope as she cares for her home and nurtures her plant, who seems to have been brought to life as it is being watered. There is power in her posture of hopefulness, gentleness, and optimism. It is up to you to determine what she is hoping for. The desires of her heart are being held with care and attention, just like her cactus, which has already begun to flower. When we honor the things that we all hope for and dream of, we bring about something beautiful for both ourselves and those whom we love. 

‘Hopes and Dreams’ is part of the ‘Love Boldly’ Collection. A break from my usual attempted realism, this collection evokes a sense of boldness in both the bright color scheme as well as the boldness that it takes to choose love. Themes of romantic and familial love, as well as love of self, love of environment, and love of other are portrayed in this series. 'Love Boldly' explores how love is present in the everyday small decisions just as much as with more momentous occasions.
