'Sanctified' Print on Canvas

Matte canvas stretched on frame made of radiata pinewood that has been sustainably sourced from renewable forests. Back hanging and rubber stoppers behind bottom corners are included. Available in sizes 8” x 10” (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm) and 16”x 20” (40.6 cm x 50.8 cm). 

'Sanctified' predates all other pieces in these three collections by approximately ten years. Sanctification, or the process of becoming holier, is portrayed as a gradual endeavor, not unlike the growth of a plant. Though sanctification is a process and inherently involves change, it does not contradict the dignity nor the nature of the person who is being sanctified. 

This piece is part of the ‘Body and Soul’ Collection, which explores the intersection of physical reality and spiritual truth through the lens of the mystery of the Incarnation, as well as the belief that human persons are both body and soul and have inalienable and inviolable inherent dignity.
